Merry Christmas to All!

I heard the bells on Christmas Day
Their old, familiar carols play,
And wild and sweet
The words repeat
Of peace on earth, good-will to men!

~Henry Wadsworth Longfellow

Invitation to a Bachelorette Party Scavenger Hunt

You're in charge of the bachelorette party, so how are you going to make it special? A great option to give the bachelorette party a boost and make sure that everyone has a rocking good time is to send bachelorette party invitations to a scavenger hunt. A scavenger hunt can last through the night and still allow for plenty of time for eating, drinking and gabbing.

Two fun scavenger hunts are where you create a list of items that have to be physically procured like a matchbook from a particular restaurant, a cocktail napkin with the bar's name on it. Another great hunt is to produce a list of things, people, places or actions that each team must take a picture with their cell phone and one team member must be in the photo. As the photos are taken, they are forwarded to the "judge" and later, she can print them out for the bride. The bride can choose her favorite photos to share on her Facebook page.

After a talk with the groom, the photo scavenger hunt could include finding places of significance to the couple from a list of clues -- their favorite bar, restaurant, place of their first date, first kiss. You can mark the landmarks before hand with a ribbon or a plastic engagement ring so scavengers will know when they are in the right spot for the photo.

If you have enough girls for two limos, you can split into teams by limo and give clues to the driver where the next landmark is to be found. You can stock the limo with drinks and snacks in the back and have a "pre party" while playing game. You can have the bride switch between limos at various times so no one feels left out. Limousines aren't as expensive as you would imagine, especially if all the girls attending the party chip in for the ride for a few hours of the night.

Your bachelorette party is sure to be memorable, especially if you give the winning team a great prize at the end of the night. A nice gift at the end of the night could be a scrapbook to present to the bride to fill with all the crazy, fun scavenger hunt photos. This type of bachelorette party gives the girls a lot of laughs, as well as a great amount of time to bond and work toward a common cause - finding all the locations, following clues and taking photos to remember the night!
